Reclaimed Baltic Pine Parquet Installation

The flagship Lush cosmetics store on London’s Oxford Street required the installation of reclaimed baltic pine floorboards. Oakvale Floors specialise in parquet flooring, from product specification through to installation and were the contractor selected to undertake the works during this impressive renovation project. The installation required a durable bonding system to ensure the longevity of the parquet flooring; an important characteristic, especially within a retail setting.

Solution

The Oakvale Floors installation team opted for Soudal’s professional parquet adhesive range, choosing to use our SV-15P solvent based adhesive. It is a proven bonding solution, ideal for fixing reclaimed parquet flooring to various substrates. In this instance, marine plywood.

It was important for us to use a proven bonding solution to pair this reclaimed board with  what would be a demanding commercial installation. Our installation team opted for Soudal’s SV-15P parquet adhesive. In our experience the product handles very well and provides a reliable bond.
