How to remove old silicone sealant?

Remove silicone sealant using our Soudal Silicone Remover.

1. Remove as much of the old joint as possible with a cutter knife.
2. Apply a thin layer onto the silicone residue and leave it to penetrate for 10-15 minutes.
3. Remove the silicone residue with the spatula.
4. For larger residues, leave to penetrate for a longer time.
5. Repeat treatment if necessary.
6. Clean joint with detergent dissolved in warm water and leave to dry before applying a new silicone.
